Giraffe: Meadowhall

Giraffe Bar and Grill Meadowhall is located in the Oasis Food Court in the Meadowhall Shopping Centre Sheffield.

Offering ‘Freshly cooked food for everyone served to the sound of great music — guaranteed to make you feel good!’

Catering Projects were involved in the design and installation of an open kitchen, back of house wash up and a compact bar area for this stylish split level restaurant.

One of the key considerations for this site was that of the kitchen being on full display to the public.

This is often the case on many of the projects we are involved with and requires every detail to be given the greatest consideration. 

Catering Projects paid considerable attention to fabrication quality ensuring that units matched in height and depth with an impressive high up stand running throughout. Where possible equipment was suited, fryers were dropped into our fabrication to maintain the one piece appearance and base units were fitted with doors to give a uniform clean and tidy finish.

Amongst other issues requiring consideration and often found with this type of busy retail site were those of access and the times at which work could be carried out.

All of these were dealt with effectively by our team leading to another successful installation by Catering Projects.
